![]() Keeping all the dodgy large VST plugs separate from Cubase keeps it stable and enables me to run UAD2 plugs within Cubase without any problems. I used to have problems with Cubase 6.5.4 crashing as well so I bought Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.0 and loaded all my Play stuff into that. In my case I found that it was when I loaded a project with a large EW Play session into Cubase that loading UAD2 (and other plugs such Aether/B2) would crash Cubase. New to UAD2 but had Cubase for years and am on 7.01. also.I have a few OLD vst plugins that I have kept around using jBridge ( Edirol Orchestral, Vb-1, ect ) because I did so many tracks with them in the past. When you get it all working, and you will. I feel your pain and need to get back to work. I keep my sequences on a different drive, so I didn't lose anything ( except restore time ). Later, we got a new release of UA software and the problem went away.Īnd this will no doubt be a pain, but have you tried to re-install your vsts? The last time I had a problem like that, with Cubase 6, and I couldn't figure it out.I just did a restore of my system to a time when everything worked. Never learned why, and UA couldn't replicate. Whenever I enabled the hi pass filter, the audio would break up and cubase would crash. and then re-enable one at at time with whatever sequence(s) are crashing? I had a strange problem in Cubase 6 with the Neve 88RS. its only when you open certain sequences that you have this problem?ĭid you try to open cubase ( and before you open any sequence ), disable the UA plugins individually from the plugin manager.
